Issues that still need to be
addressed:
Should there be adult leaders for teen youth
groups? Get more clear on role of adult leader in younger kids'
clubs Should United World Citizens children's clubs' only be during school year?
Should club projects have a year long limit/deadline?...AND, if so,
should clubs try to get other clubs started to carry on their club
format as they move on to the next one???
Should the United World Citizens club
concept have it's own mission statement? Individual clubs should
name their club?
How to partner with other youth groups involved
in like minded projects where to express the importance of
maximizing the amount of good that is achieved ('results vs. energy
output').
I need a panel to discuss how long project goals should
be, perhaps consider 2 yr commitments ? Maybe have the youth club
formats be for lesser periods and adult clubs be more flexible on
time limits. (the rational being to stress the importance for kids
to learn about as many different cultures/areas as
possible.
